FULBRIGHT BUSINESS MENTOR & SPEAKERS NETWORK
Connect. Mentor. Share. Collaborate. Create Opportunity.
Driving Innovation Through Global Exchange & Business Leadership
The Fulbright Mentors & Speakers Network, established by the American-Lao Business Association (ALBA), is a practical mentoring and business-development program connecting Fulbright alumni and graduates with experienced Lao and international business leaders, executives, entrepreneurs, companies, organizations, and subject-matter experts.
The program is built around a simple idea: talent grows through relationships, and opportunities grow through connections.
By bringing together people with international education and experience with those actively building businesses, organizations, and careers in Laos, the network creates a platform for mentorship, professional development, business connections, and collaboration.

The Fulbright Mentoring Network is designed to create relationships that continue beyond a single mentoring conversation.
Participants may connect through mentoring relationships, leadership discussions, business introductions, professional exchanges, industry conversations, and collaborative opportunities.
The objective is not simply to ask, “Who can mentor me?”
It is to create a community where people can ask:
Who can I learn from?
Who can I help?
Who should I know?
What opportunity can we create together?
That is the foundation of the Fulbright Mentoring Network.
Building the Next Generation of Lao Leaders
ALBA believes that Laos’ future leadership will be strengthened when education, business experience, international perspectives, and local opportunity come together.
The Fulbright Mentoring Network creates that connection—bringing people together to share knowledge, develop talent, build businesses, strengthen professional relationships, and contribute to Laos’ future.
Connect. Mentor. Develop. Collaborate. Lead.
Why the Fulbright Mentoring Network?
Laos has a growing need for leaders who can connect international knowledge with local opportunity.
Many Fulbright alumni return with valuable education, professional experience, and global perspectives. The challenge is creating meaningful pathways for that knowledge to translate into professional advancement, entrepreneurship, business development, investment, and collaboration.
The Fulbright Mentoring Network helps close that gap.
It creates a bridge between:
Education → Experience → Relationships → Opportunity → Impact
Through the network, participants can learn from people who have built businesses, managed organizations, navigated industries, created partnerships, and developed careers in Laos and internationally.
For businesses and organizations, the program provides access to emerging talent and a broader professional network.
For Fulbright alumni and graduates, it provides a pathway to mentorship, professional growth, business connections, and practical opportunity.
